A Brief Biography

Hello, I'm Charles. Yes, I am based in the land down under, in Sydney, Australia. The home of koalas, kangaroos, red back spiders, magpies and my beloved North Melbourne Football Club.

With that important stuff said and out of the way, some years ago i had a significant moment in my life. I was working out the chords of a song and then testing that arrangement against the backdrop of my stereo for the first time.

Everything was humming beautifully in synch, the vibration of guitar strings and that guitar on the stereo. Just wow! (maybe you had to be there). Apart from a song arrangement here was a path to a critical ear in studying songs and also personal direction. To recreate that experience led to creating music arrangements printed in colour (and landscape) and then years later, hey video works too.

Pitching this idea to music publishing companies like Sony, Universal Music, Hal Leonard, Music Sales even Beatles management seemed the next obvious step right? To cut a long story short (and the years), publishing didn't work out. It is incredibly expensive which is why i've landed on YouTube. YouTube manages and pays all the royalties and licenses under a User Generated coverage license these days.

Great! So here we are to today and hopefully despite all the umms and aahs in the videos, i am helping some people out there. Which is awesome.
